Request time off
Book leave from My time off, see what it does to your balance, and change or cancel it later.

- How to enable
- Always on. You need an employee record in the workspace.
My time off is your personal leave page: your calendar, your balance for each leave type, and every request you've made.
How it works
- Requesting. Pick a leave type and a date range, or select the days on your calendar. Only working days count, so weekends and your location's public holidays are skipped. For a single day, you can book the morning or the afternoon instead of the full day.
- Balance preview. Before you submit, you see how much time you're requesting, your balance before and after, and who the request will go to. Your other pending requests for the same leave type already count against the balance.
- Attachments. You can attach up to 5 files to a request, such as a doctor's note. Each can be a PDF, JPG or PNG of up to 5 MB.
- Rules. Requests start from today, never before your hire date. If a leave type isn't allowed during probation, you can't use it until your probation ends. A hard blackout blocks its dates. If a request would take your balance below zero, it's refused unless the leave type allows a negative balance, and the policy can limit how far below zero you can go.
- After you submit. Your request goes to your manager, or through an approval chain if your policy has one. It's approved right away if the leave type auto-approves or if nobody is there to approve it. You get an email when it's decided.
- Balances. Each balance is a running ledger. Grants and accruals add time, approved leave deducts it, and carryover and expiry move time between leave years. Nothing is deducted until the final approval.
Good to know
- You can edit or cancel a request while it's pending or approved. Editing an approved request sends it back for approval. Cancelling an approved request returns the time to your balance.
- To change a request's leave type, cancel it and make a new request.
