Self-hosting
Run openbranchhq on your own infrastructure. Coming soon.
Coming soon
The self-hosted version isn't released yet. This page describes what it will be; it'll be updated with setup instructions when it ships.
Self-hosting lets you run openbranchhq on your own servers instead of in our cloud. You get the same leave management your team would use in the hosted version, with your data in your own database.
How it will work
- Every core feature, no limits. A self-hosted installation runs without billing, so there are no caps on locations, departments, leave types or people, and accruals, carryover and approval chains are included.
- Your infrastructure. openbranchhq runs alongside its own Postgres database, Redis and file storage. You choose where it lives, and you own the backups and upgrades.
- Open source. The core is open source under the AGPL-3.0, so you can read, run and modify the code.
- Enterprise plan. Self-hosting will also come with an Enterprise plan for organizations that need more than the open-source core. Details and pricing will be announced at release; contact us if you're interested.
Good to know
- Workspaces in our cloud and self-hosted installations are separate; there's no built-in sync between them.
- Until it's released, the cloud plans are the supported way to use openbranchhq.
