Your home page in a workspace: who's out, what's waiting on you, and what's coming up.

Always on.

The dashboard is the first page you see in a workspace. It brings together today's absences, the requests waiting on you and the dates coming up. What you see depends on your role and on whether you approve anyone's leave.

How it works

  • Headline numbers. Employees see their own leave left, their next booked time off, their pending requests and how many people are out today. Owners, admins and HR see the organization instead: active headcount, requests waiting on them, people out today, and people off in the next 14 days.
  • For you. Leave requests you can approve, each with a one-click approval. Approvers, owners, admins and HR also see coverage gaps: a department down to one person or nobody in the next 14 days. Owners, admins and HR also see people who are missing leave entitlements and invitations that have expired or expire within 3 days.
  • Out of office. Approved leave for today or the next 7 days. Pending requests never appear here.
  • Blackout notice. A banner appears when a blackout period in the next 60 days applies to you.
  • Your leave. Your balance for each leave type in the leave year, and your next 3 upcoming requests.
  • People and dates. Upcoming public holidays (for your location or the whole organization), people who joined in the last 30 days, and work anniversaries in the next 30 days. Owners, admins and HR also see who is starting or leaving soon.

Good to know

  • Work anniversaries count from the current hire date, so a rehired person's count starts again from their rehire.
  • If you have no employee record (for example, an owner who only administers), you have no leave to request and the personal panels stay empty.
