A directory everyone can browse
Every member can open the directory: it shows who people are and how to reach them, not their HR record. Tabs split it into All, Out today, Joining and Archived, and search matches a name, an email, a job title or a team.
Each person carries one status, worked out from their record and today's approved leave, so nobody keeps it up to date by hand.

An org chart from reporting lines
The chart is drawn from each person's manager — nobody maintains it separately. It opens two levels deep, branches collapse, search jumps to a person, and a focused person is a link you can share.
The same lines route approvals, so there is no separate list of approvers to keep in step.

Three ways in
Invite someone by email and they set up their own login. Or add a record without one — for people who never sign in — and invite them later. Owners and admins can also bring in a batch of records in one go from CSV: all of them are created, or none are.
Each record holds the location, department, manager, job title, hire date, probation end and working days that the leave rules read. Promotions and role changes are kept as dated history.

From first day to last
Schedule someone's last day ahead of time and they show as Leaving straight away; the date can be moved or cancelled until it passes. A final-balances report gives payroll what's left on each leave type.
The night after the last day, a closeout entry brings every balance to zero, their access ends, and anyone who reported to them is left without a manager until you assign a new one. The record is archived, not deleted: a rehire picks up the same record with a new start date and their history intact.
- Scheduled
- Shows as Leaving; can be moved or cancelled
- Final balances
- A report for payroll
- The night after
- Balances close out to zero, access ends
- Archived
- History kept, never in the active count
- Rehire
- Same record, new start date
FAQ
People, answered
Still have a question? Email us
Can I add people who never sign in?
Yes. Add their record without a login and invite them later if they ever need one. Once their start date arrives they count toward your active employees like everyone else.
Are leavers deleted?
No. After their last day they're archived with their leave history intact. Removing a record for good is a separate action only owners and admins can take, and it removes that history too.
Can someone come back?
Yes. Rehire an archived person and they pick up the same record with a new start date after their last day; you can send a fresh invitation at the same time.
