Pricing questions
What counts as an active employee?
Anyone whose employment has started and not ended — including people working their notice. Future hires and archived people aren't billed. One definition drives the Free cap, the Pro price and every add-on, so you never see two different headcounts on an invoice.
What happens when I add or remove people?
Your seat count follows your headcount automatically. The first 10 active employees are covered by the flat price; each one beyond that is charged right away for the rest of the current period, and someone who leaves becomes a credit on your next invoice. Nothing to manage by hand.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Up to 5 members, with 1 location, 1 department and 3 leave types — plenty for a small team. Upgrade when you outgrow it.
What if I downgrade or stop paying?
Your organization moves to the Free plan. Everything you created stays: over-cap locations, departments and leave types keep working, Pro-only features and add-ons become read-only, and you can export your data at any time. Nothing is deleted.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet — plans are billed monthly today. Annual billing with a discount is on the roadmap.
When will the add-ons be available?
Documents and Asset Management are built and in use by early teams; they'll be switched on for purchase one at a time. Their prices are listed so you can plan ahead.
Can I self-host?
Self-hosting is coming soon. The core is open source under the AGPL-3.0, and a self-hosted installation runs it with no caps. The add-ons, Documents and Asset Management, are source-available under a commercial license: free to develop and test, with a subscription required for production use. See LICENSING.md in the repository.
