Built for more than one office
Each location carries its own timezone, leave year, public holidays and policies. Departments group people for the calendar, blackouts and reports.
A location is a jurisdiction
A location has a country, a timezone and a fiscal-year start — April gives a leave year of April 1 to March 31. Its public holidays are imported by country and year, or added by hand, and every request from an employee there skips them automatically.
Policies are per location and leave type. The policies page shows “No applicable policy” and “Without a location” counts so nobody is silently uncovered.

Departments do real work
A department is more than a label. The team calendar groups people into department lanes with “12 people · 3 out today”, blackouts can be scoped to the departments they actually affect, reports and the directory filter by department, and the org chart shows it on every card.

Reporting lines, not a manager role
The org chart is built from each employee's manager. Approval rights come from that relationship — there is no “manager” role to hand out. When a manager is archived, their reports are detached so they can never be resolved as an approver again.
The chart itself is searchable, subtrees collapse, and a focused person is a shareable link.
Growing in
Invite by email, add someone without a login yet, or import employees by CSV. Organizations hold up to a thousand members, and people who belong to more than one switch between them from the sidebar.

Locations & departments, answered
Can one person belong to two locations?
No — a person has one location, which decides their holidays, leave year and policies. Departments are independent of location.
Do public holidays apply to the whole company?
They're per location. Import Greece's calendar for Athens and the UK's for London; each person's requests skip only their own.
Can I have a location without importing a country's holidays?
Yes. Import is a convenience; you can add or remove holidays by hand for any location and year.
