Apply a policy change to balances already granted
Change a leave policy's allowance or pro-rating and you can now bring this year's balances in line, instead of waiting for the next leave year.
Your choice, after every edit
Editing a policy still changes what's granted from then on. When the edit changes the allowance or pro-rating, openbranchhq now shows who got their balance under the earlier rules and offers to update it. Each person's grant moves to what the current rules give, and leave they've already taken stays as it is.
You can also run it later from the policy's Settings tab. It warns you before a lower allowance takes anyone below zero.
One person's entitlement can be recalculated from their employee record too, for example after correcting their start date.
