The whole request → approve → balance loop
v0.1 is the leave core, built properly. Employees request time off, approvers decide from one queue, and balances update from a ledger — with the rules a growing, multi-location team actually runs on.
Policies and requests
One policy per leave type and location sets the quota, how it's earned, what carries over and who approves. Requests count working hours only — weekends and public holidays are excluded, half-days and custom hours are supported — and show the balance after before anyone submits.
- Up-front quotas or accrual on a schedule, pro-rated for joiners
- Carryover with caps and expiry
- Public holidays per location, imported by country in one click
Approvals and balances
Approval chains route each request on their own, with delegation, reminders and escalation. Balances are never stored: each is the sum of a ledger, so it can't drift and can be replayed for any past date.
